Tatsu Yamashiro or also known as Katana, is from Japan she is proficient in martial arts and swordsmanship. She possess a sword called the "soultaker". The "soultaker" was forged in 14th century by Muramasa and it is said it takes the soul of whoever is killed by it's blade and it is stored within the sword.
Tatsu Yamashiro's Personal life:
Her life changed when she met two brothers Maseo and Takeo Yamashiro. They both fell in love with her, but she chose Maseo. This angered Takeo and joined the Yakuza. Maseo and Tatsu began a life together and had twin daughters. Meanwhile Takeo rose rank in the Yakuza and had the idea to kill Maseo and Tatsu with the "soultaker" sword he was given. Takeo instantly killed Maseo trapping his soul in the sword. Tatsu managed to take the sword away from him and killed him. But while they were fighting Maseo accidentally start a fire causing the family to die. The only survivor was Katana.
Tatsu now posseses the sword and she began to train how to use it with Master Tadashi. After she completed her training, she set off to America where she uses her fighting skills to fight for justice. She calls herself Katana.
